Grants Pass Oregon River Running Guide

Weather for Grants Pass Oregon Forecast

Grants Pass, county seat of Josephine County, has a population of approximately 30,000 and is located on Interstate 5, just 30 miles northwest of Medford and 140 miles south of Eugene.  Attractions include the Rogue, Klamath, and North Umpqua Rivers, famous for their rafting, nearby Oregon Caves, year-round steelhead fishing, numerous hiking trails and much more.

Surrounded by stately mountains and ancient forests, Grants Pass is the perfect place to experience some of nature's greatest wonders. After a day spent outdoors, take a visit to the abundance of antique stores, specialty shops and art galleries located in the historic downtown, and dine at restaurants offering the finest in Pacific Northwest flavor.

The fun doesn't stop there. With spectacular events from art and seasonal festivals to traditional heritage events and Native American Pow-Wows , Grants Pass' year round calendar of events offers something for everyone. And once the sun goes down, the region takes on a life of its own with plenty of nightlife including fine restaurants, theatre's and a performing arts center.
