| Booze Cruise on the Chena River |
During the warm, sun-drenched days of summer, floating lackadaisically down the Chena River is a delight to any boater or nonboater alike. Watercraft of all sorts, power-boats to pool toys, can be seen drifting through historic downtown Fairbanks at any hour under the midnightsun. Bring a cooler of beer or just stop midway at the Boatel for drinks and six hours will melt away just like last winters snowfall. After viewing some of the beautiful riverfront homes, take-out at Pike's and grab a table on the deck, a perfect place to keep the relaxation and good times rolling.
