Put In:  Pruitt - Highway 7 Bridge
Take Out:  Carver - Highway 123 Bridge
Difficulty:  Class I
Run Length:  11 miles
Current Streamflow:  11 cfs @ 12/14/2016 01:30 PM - Buffalo River near Boxley, AR, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  3.0 - 4.5 feet
Streamflow Comments:  Minimum Flow = 3.0 feet, Optimum Flow = 3.5 - 4.5 feet
Season Comments:  March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October
Primary Season:  Good flows and warm temperatures attract most paddlers between mid March through October
Permit:  None Presently Required
Character/Similar To:  Flatwater pools between quick moving shallow water. Great Scenery
Hazards:  Some areas can be shallow
Water Craft:  kayak,canoe,touring
Camping on River:  In designated campsites
Location:  In the Southeastern U.S. (AR), 136 miles(2 hours 34 minutes) Northwest of Little Rock
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Carver head northeast on AR 123. Go across the river and take the first right, follow that road for .2 miles to the river.

Put In: From the take out return to AR 123 and turn left. Follow AR 123 for 2.4 miles and turn right onto AR 74. Continue for 9.7 miles and turn right onto AR 7, continue for 5.6 miles. Cross over the river and take the first right onto Pruitt-Yardell Road, then take the next right onto County Road 472, follow this road .5 miles to the river.
