This river is roadside and can be scouted on the shuttle drive. There are three sections to this river. The first few miles are pool drop class V rapids, from below the Cheveron Station put in expect lots of class IV rapids until Indian Flat Campground. Below the campground the rapids consist of fun pool drop class III. |

Take Out: To reach the take out take Route 140 towards Yosemite Park. The take out is where the road first meets the river at a small bridge over the Merced.
Put In: From the take out continue driving towards Yosemite Park. There are many access points along this highway. |
