Character/Similar To:  Continuous Class II and III rapids in many stretches including some steep boulder gardens.
Hazards:  Low bridges and a dangerous diversion dam downstream from the take-out.

Camping on River:  Developed Forest Service campgrounds.
Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 107 miles Northeast of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics:  Put-in: Take the Boca exit off I-80, about 7 miles east of Truckee and drive north to the river.

Take-out: Return to I-80 and follow it east about 15 miles. Take the Floriston exit and take-out just upstream from the I-80 bridge.
