Many class V+ rapids and waterfalls. There are no vertical walled gorges and everything can be portaged without to much difficulty. |

This run is class V+ and should only be attempted by expert kayakers. There are many rapids on this run that are portaged more then they are ran. This section of the river is very isolated and hiking out would be very difficult. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: Take the eastern of the two Route 50 exits for Pacific House and take the dirt road which leads down to the river.
Take-out: Take the eastern most exit for Pollock Pines from Route 50. Head north past the Safeway and turn left onto the main street. Turn right on to Forebay Road and drive approximately 8 miles to the bridge. |
