Put In:  Dusy Branch
Take Out:  Yucca Point Trail
Difficulty:  Class V to VI , Portage many, many, many
Gradient:  222 fpm, 400 fpm in some places
Run Length:  29 miles
Good Level:  500 - 1,500 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  This section is usually running half of the Kings River at Rodgers Crossing
Season Comments:  June, July, August
Primary Season:  This section of river only runs in the summer, usually best after peak snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Lots of continuous class V/VI, expect lots of portaging
Hazards:  This run is a hazard and should only be attempted by a team of expert kayakers
Water Craft:  kayak
Land Ownership:  Public
Wilderness:  Yes
Camping on River:  There are many campsites on the side of the river
Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 248 miles (4 hours 13 minutes) Southeast of Sacramento
