Put-in: At the small town of Downieville, California, off Hwy 49 from Nevada City, pull into the parking lot on the right and the river is a short walk from this point. An alternate put-in is at Union Flat Campground 6 miles east of Downieville. Another alternate put-in is at the Shangri-La bridge about 4 miles upstream.
Take-out: Four miles down stream off Hwy 49 at the Goodyears Bar bridge on the left. |
