Put In:  Above Burnt Point Creek
Take Out:  Yucca Creek
Difficulty:  Class IV +
Gradient:  129 fpm
Run Length:  4.1 miles
Good Level:  200 - 800 cfs, Optimum 400 cfs
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season: 

This section of river runs in the winter and spring, usually after a few days of heavy rain or during normal run off

Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Fun continuous class IV+, there are many good rapids, some long slides, and two vertical drops
Hazards:  The first waterfall comes very quick, the landing of this drop has a large boulder in the right side.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 233 miles (3 hours 54 minutes) Southeast of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Visalia take Route 198 east for 30 miles to Three Rivers. In this small town turn left onto North Fork Road and follow it to a small bridge near Yucca Creek.

Put In: To reach the put in, cross the bridge and continue up river to Burnt Point Creek. At some point the road becomes washed out and you have to hike to the put in.
