Put In:  Riverside Campground
Take Out:  Wards Ferry
Difficulty:  Class IV , Class V , Portage
Gradient:  182 fpm
Run Length:  12 miles
Good Level:  400 - 1,000 cfs, Optimum 700 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this section of river.
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This section of river only runs in the winter and spring, usually after a few days of heavy rain or during early snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Starts and ends as a small brush filled creek. In the middle of the run expect a handful of fun and challenging class V rapids
Hazards:  In the upper and lower portions of this run expect alot of wood and over hanging bushes. There is one mandatory portage about 3 miles up river of the Confluence of the Main Tuolumne River, portage on river right.

Camping on River:  Riverside Campground at the put in
Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 123 miles (2 hours 16 minutes) Southeast of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: Driving east on Highway 120 turn left onto Wards Ferry Road in the town of Groveland. Follow the signs to Sonora until you reach a bridge across the reservoir, this is the take out.

Put In: From the take out continue towards Sonora on Wards Ferry Road. In a few miles turn right onto Yosemite Road. In about 2.5 miles you will arrive at a “T” intersection turn right and continue 3 miles to the town of Tuolumne. In the town turn right just past the park and go 2 blocks and then turn left. In a few blocks follow the road to the right. In less than a mile the road will fork, follow the road to the right. In 2.3 miles you will cross over the North Fork of the Tuolumne, shortly after crossing the bridge turn into Riverside Campground and put in.
