Put In:  Little North Fork
Take Out:  Forks of Salmon
Difficulty:  Class III to IV @ 600 - 1,000 cfs , Class IV to V @ 1,000 - 3,000 cfs
Gradient:  70 fpm, up to 100 fpm
Run Length:  11.3 miles
Current Streamflow:  11000 cfs @ 12/14/2016 08:30 AM - KLAMATH R A ORLEANS, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  600 - 3,000 cfs, Optimum 1,500 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this river. This section is usually running if the Klamath River at Orleans gauge reads between 5,000 and 10,000 cfs.
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This section of river only runs during the winter and spring, usually runs after a few days of heavy rain or during normal snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Roadside run with many long boulder gardens and steep drops.
Hazards:  The gorge near the end of this run often contains wood.
Water Craft:  kayak
Land Ownership:  Public
Wilderness:  No
Camping on River:  Little North Fork Campground near the put in.
Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 301 miles (5 hours 23 minutes) North of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Put In: From Somes Bar take Route 96 up the main Salmon for 17 miles to the Forks of the Salmon. To reach the put in drive up the North Fork Salmon for 11 miles to the Little North Fork.

Take Out: The take out is in the town at the Forks of the Salmon.
