Camping on River:  Developed Forest Service campgrounds at Silver Creek (mile 2.8) and Goose Meadow (mile 5.5).
Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 100 miles Northeast of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics:  Put-in: Turn south off I-80 just west of Truckee onto Hwy 89 toward Lake Tahoe. Put-in 11 miles upstream, at the picnic area just downstream from Alpine Meadows Road. River Ranch is just upstream and is often crowded.

Take-out: Located at the Hwy 267 bridge just outside of Truckee.
