| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: Head east from Placerville on Hwy 50 and take the Schnell School Road exit. Take a left and go under the freeway to Carson Road and take a right. Turn left on North Canyon Road and proceed about 2.5 miles past the Hassler Road junction to a gravel road on the left. Take this road down to the gate at Slab Creek Dam. From here it's a short walk to the river.
Take-out: Take Mosquito Road north out of Placerville for 2 miles and turn left on Meadow Lane. Proceed to the gate at White Rock Powerhouse where it's a short walk to the river. |
