Good campsites may be found in the first mile or two below Tenmile Creek, toward the end of the gorge, and in the last few miles above Rattlesnake Creek. Roadside rest area on Hwy 101 half way between the Tenmile Creek put-in and Leggett. Big Bend Lodge at the take-out offers very nice riverside accomodations. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: Follow Hwy 101 about 7 miles north from Laytonville. Put-in just below the gauge station where the creek begins to turn away from the highway.
Take-out: Exit Hwy 101 at Cummings, about 7 miles south of Leggett and follow the Drive-Thru Tree Road (Old Hwy 101) for 3 miles. At the Big Bend Lodge sign, turn left onto a one-mile dirt road that leads to the lodge and the river. There is a small take-out fee unless you stay at one of the lodges nice, secluded cottages.
