Take Out:  Anywhere along the road
Difficulty:  Class IV

Run Length:  6 miles

Good Level:  300 - 1,000 cfs, Optimum 800 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this creek. Call 800-742-9474, this creek is usually running about 20% of the inflow to Clair Engle
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This section of river only runs during the winter and spring, usually after a few days of heavy rain, and during the snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Continuous whitewater throughout the run through a scenic canyon

Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 244 miles (4 hours 13 minutes) Northwest of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Redding, on I-5, take Route 299 towards Weaverville for 50 miles. Then turn north onto Route 3, drive about 35 miles north towards the outpost to Coffee Creek. Turn left onto Coffee Creek Road, you can take out at any pull outs near the river.

Put In: The put in is about 8 miles upriver on Coffee Creek at the North Fork Confluence.
