Good Level:  200 - 500 cfs, Optimum 400 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this creek
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This creek only runs during the winter and spring, usually after a few days of heavy rain or during peak snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Fun tight technical creek that runs along the roadside.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 333 miles (5 hours 58 minutes) Northwest of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From the town of Happy Camp, cross the bridge to river left and take an immediate right. Follow the road to the confluence of Elk Creek and the Klamath River.

Put In: From the take out drive up Elk Creek and choose any roadside put in.
