Put In:  East Fork Confluence
Take Out:  Denny
Difficulty:  Class III to IV @ 300 - 800 cfs , Class IV to V- @ 800 - 2,000 cfs , Portage
Gradient:  67 fpm
Run Length:  4.5 miles
Good Level:  500 - 1,500 cfs, Optimum 1,000 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this river. This usually runs when the Trinity River at Hoopa gauge reads between 3,000 and 5,000 cfs
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This section of river only runs during the winter and spring, usually after a few days of heavy rain, and during the snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  This is a short section of river with a few short gorges. One gorge has large overhanging walls. Each gorge contains respectable rapids that deserve scouting
Hazards:  Scout the rapids in each gorge. Most of the rapids are blind.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 271 miles (5 hours 4 minutes) Northwest of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: On the north side of Denny turn onto a small dirt road near the school. Take this road until it becomes to steep for vehicles. The take out is a short distance down the road at an old bridge.

Put In: From Denny continue north up river for 3 miles to the bridge over the river, this is the put in.
