Take Out:  La Moine
Difficulty:  Class V , Portage 2
Gradient:  Average 215 fpm, Highest 270 fpm
Run Length:  3.3 miles
Good Level:  250 - 500 cfs, Optimum 400 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this creek
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This creek only runs during the winter and spring, usually after a few days of heavy rain or during normal snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Very steep and technical class V rapids seperated by short pools.
Hazards:  This run is class V and should only be attempted by expert kayakers.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 226 miles (4 hours 15 minutes) Northeast of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From I-5, take the La Moine exit, take out under the bridge over the Slate at the freeway.

Put In: From the take out drive up USFS road 36n20, on the right at the take out. Drive for 4 miles to the put in at a bridge over the creek near 2 Crocs mining claim.
