Good Level:  500 - 1,200 cfs, Optimum 800 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this creek
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This creek only runs during the winter and spring, usually after a few days of heavy rain and during normal snowmelt
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Many fun rapids in the last 4 miles on this creek. There is also many class III rapids even further up river.
Hazards:  Watch for wood on this creek

Wilderness:  Yes, Marble Mountains Wilderness Area.
Camping on River:  Wooley Creek Campground
Location:  In the Pacific Region (CA), 307 miles (5 hours 39 miles) Northwest of Sacramento
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Somes Bar take Route 96 up the Salmon River for 4.5 miles. The take out is a short hike from the confluence with the Salmon up to the road.

Put In: At the parking area there is a trail leading up Wooley Creek, hike up the trail and put in were it is most convenient
