Take-out: To reach the take-out travel Northeast from Bakersfield on Hwy 178 about 40 miles to the town of Lake Isabella. Turn left on Hwy 155 to Wofford Heights and continue four more miles to Kernville. Turn left on
Sierra Way and continue 12.2 miles upstream to a turn out on the right side of the road at Salmon Creek Falls.
Put-in: Continue upstream for 2.1 miles to Calkins Flat Primitive Camping Area.
