| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: Located some 15 miles west of Maybell, Colorado. Turn north off US 40 onto County Road 85. After about 2.5 miles, turn left onto BLM Road 1551 and follow the signs another 2.5 miles to the river access, about 3/4 mile upstream from the canyon entrance. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
Take-out: Return to US 40, drive west about 2 miles, bear right at the Deerlodge Park turnoff, and drive to the picnic area on the left bank at the foot of the gorge.
