Most paddled section on the Eagle River. Mostly class II whitewater with a few fun class III rapids mixed in. During this section the river makes the transition from spruce and aspen forests to the sage brush and junipers of the high desert. |

Put In: In Edwards drive west from the only stop light to the first bridge crossing the river. Park on river right upstream of the bridge, this will be the put in.
Take Out: In Eagle the take out is at Chambers Park just west of the Exit off I-70. |
