Put In:  Johnson Village Bridge
Take Out:  Fisherman's Bridge
Difficulty:  Class II
Gradient:  30 ft/mi
Run Length:  6 miles
Flow Information (phone):  watertalk 303-831-7135, 2*, 59*. Arkansas River at Nathrop, CO.
Good Level:  700-4,500 cfs

Season Comments:  May, June, July, August

Permit:  Daily self issued permits required. $3/person for river access and use of picnic site, additional fees for camping.
Character/Similar To:  Mostly Class I and II rapids providing an nice run for the novice to beginner.

Land Ownership:  Mixed public and private, watch for signs along river designating public lands.
Wilderness:  No
Camping on River:  Yes on public land.
Location:  In the Rocky Mtn Region (CO), 130 miles Southwest of Denver
Shuttle Logistics: 

Put-in: Located on Hwy 285 just before the intersection with Hwy 24 near Johnson's Village.

Take-out: Turn east off US 285 about 2 miles north of Nathrop onto County Road 301, cross the river, and turn right at the top of the hill.
