Scout every drop and waterfall on this run for wood. The most hazardous section of this creek is the shuttle drive. During the shuttle you will drive through the Slate River, many trips on OBJ have been ended because stuck shuttle vehicles. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From Crested Butte take Gothic Road north and turn left onto CO Road 734 towards Pittsburgh. The take out is just above the confluence with the Slate River.
Put In: Drive or hike up the dirt road for about a mile to reach the put in. Put in below Ankle Breaker Falls. |
