Run Length:  11.5 miles

Good Level:  700 - 3000 cfs

Permit:  Daily self issued permits required. $3/person for river access and use of picnic site, additional fees for camping
Character/Similar To:  Beautiful deep river gorge. Jagged, red rocks. When water is high the Gorge is one continuous class IV run.

Camping on River:  no, the canyon is very narrow and steep
Location:  In the Rocky Mtn Region (CO), 180 miles Southwest of Denver
Shuttle Logistics: 

Put-In: 2 miles west of Parkdale bridge on the north side of Hwy 50 (mile 93.5).

Take-Out: Follow Hwy 50 into Canon City, turn south on Fourth Street, cross the river, turn right into Centennial park.
