Streamflow Comments:  This section is not recommended below 3 feet
Season Comments:  June, July
Primary Season:  This section of river only runs a couple months of the year. Levels are dependent on current snow pack. Usually runs during June and sometimes in July.
Permit:  No permit required
Character/Similar To:  The Poudre is a small, shallow river. When the water is high the play is non-stop. When the river is low it becomes very technical.
Hazards:  Poudre Falls is usually portaged although it has been run at levels below 3 feet. Because of the narrowness of the gorge logjams are often present.
