| Character/Similar To: |
This is a long section of creek that demands an alert boater. The upper 5 miles are mostly class V, some rapids will require portaging because of wood. Expect alot of rocks and be ready to abuse your boat. Once the lower 5 miles is reached expect a very scenic canyon and clean class IV drops until the take out. |
| Hazards: |
The upper 5 miles contains many class V drops. Erosion in this young creek bed is constantly changing rapids and filling them with wood. At the put in there is a large portage through thick brush before you actually put in and run the creek. |
