This section of the Henson runs through a box canyon that, in some spots, reaches 100 feet deep. The whitewater in this section is mostly class II riffles with a few class III rapids. |

For beginner paddlers this can be a challenging section, also there may be an ocassional downed log. This run is roadside but because it is in a small box canyon it can be very difficult to leave river level. |
