Put In:  Gate Campground
Take Out:  Redbridge Campground
Difficulty:  Class II
Gradient:  30 fpm
Run Length:  7 miles
Current Streamflow:  954 cfs @ 05/24/2013 04:00 AM - LAKE FORK AT GATEVIEW, CO., reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  > 700 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  Flows for this section of river are dependant on current snowpack.
Season Comments:  May, June, July
Primary Season:  This usually runs during normal snowmelt season. Most years this will run May through July
Permit:  None presently required, registration is required at the put in for this section because BLM wants to monitor the use of this section.
Character/Similar To:  This section of river is a mellow class II stretch that flows through scenic ranchland. Beginners and families alike will enjoy this section of river.
Hazards:  Beware of the Diversion Dam at river mile 4.
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan,raft
Land Ownership:  The first 4 miles of this stretch are on private land so please stay in your boat.
Wilderness:  No
Camping on River:  Gate Campground at the put in and Redbridge Campground at the take out.
Location:  In the Rocky Mtn Region (CO), 236 miles (6 hours 1 minute) Southwest of Denver
Shuttle Logistics: 

Put In: Gate Campground is located 10 miles down river of mile marker 79 on Highway 149.

Take Out: The take out at Red Bridge Campground is 2 miles north of Highway 149 on 25 Road.
