Good Level:  900 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  Flows on this river are dependant on current snowpack
Season Comments:  June, July
Primary Season:  This section ususally runs for a short time in June during peak snowmelt, sometimes this run will continue to have water through July
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Mostly calm class III seperated by short pools, this section of river is mostly known for its great playspots.
Hazards:  No particular hazards
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan,raft
Land Ownership:  Public forest
Wilderness:  Yes
Location:  In the Rocky Mtn Region (CO), 365 miles (6 hours 42 minutes) Southwest of Denver
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: To reach the take out drive west at the intersection of Highway 141 and Highway 145 just outside of Naturita, then turn sharply up the hill onto EE30 Road. Continue over the hill, stay right of the power plant, and then continue on the road down the hill to the bridge.

Put In: From the take out drive up the river right bank on a small dirt road. The play waves are about 3 miles upriver of the bridge while the put in for the entire run is 5.2 miles up the road.
