About halfway through the run, just past Horsefly Creek, scout the low head dam. A line down the far river left side is possible. Low head dams are very dangerous, do not attempt to run this drop unless you are 100% positive of the line. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: To reach the take out drive west at the intersection of Highway 141 and Highway 145 just outside of Naturita, then turn sharply up the hill onto EE30 Road. Continue over the hill, stay right of the power plant, and then continue on the road down the hill to the bridge.
Put In: On Highway 145, put in at the bridge between Norwood and Placerville. |
