Put In:  C.G. at Kannah Creek Trailhead
Take Out:  girl scout camp bridge
Difficulty:  Class V
Gradient:  230 fpm
Run Length:  1.8 miles
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this creek.
Season Comments:  May, June
Primary Season:  This section of creek usually runs early in the snow melt season, usually runs in May and depending on snowpack it will sometimes run as late as June
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Continuous class V for 1.8 miles, this run is action packed.
Hazards:  Scout this entire run before putting on. This section is virtually impossible to boat scout and it may contain river wide barbed wire fences. Do not boat past the take out because there are many river wide barbed wire fences and no eddies, running the section below is almost impossible to run safely.
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan
Land Ownership:  Mixed public and private
Wilderness:  No
Camping on River:  There is a campground at the Kannak Creek Trailhead near the put in.
Location:  In the Rocky Mtn Region (CO), 251 miles (4 hours 19 minutes) West of Denver
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Delta take Highway 50 north and turn east onto Land’s End Road and follow it for 3 miles. Make two consecutive right turns onto GS.00 Road and go 6.25 miles and turn into the Girl Scout Camp and continue to a small bridge.

Put In: Return to the main road from the Girl Scout Camp and drive up river for 1.75 miles and put in just above the Kannah Creek Trailhead. This is an easy section to hike shuttle because scouting the length of the run is very important.
