Big Bear Creek on the Potlatch River

The run starts off a small stream in a pasture with class II-III whitewater for the first third of the run. The creek gains size and tightens into a timbered gorge. Dry Creek enters from the right seven miles down. Within the next mile a class IV drop leads into a blind corner to the left. Just around the bend is the horizon line to the big falls. Eddy out on the right to portage or scout. Line on the falls is right. The 6 ft drop below the falls is a great boof, scout right. More big drops follow with a long class IV rapid among others. Some are worth scouting.
