Golden Canyon on the South Fork Clearwater River
Most people put in below Coyote Falls, which is mile upstream of Hanging Rock. From Hanging Rock down to "Chuck Rollins" is three miles of dodging rocks. A large overhanging boulder on the right identifies the entrance to this rapid. Two miles of easy water follow. Then the action picks up for another two miles. Close to the end of the run is a river wide hole known as Fish Jump.
