Turn right to stay on Cottonwood Creek Rd/Nat for Dev Rd 377 5.4 mi 7. Turn left to stay on Cottonwood Creek Rd/Nat for Dev Rd 377 0.6 mi 8. Slight left at N Fork Boise River Rd/Nat for Dev Rd 268 5.7 mi 9. Turn left toward N Fork Boise River Rd/Nat for Dev Rd 268 0.6 mi 10. North Fork Boise River, Barber Flat on the Boise River

Soon after the put-in the river drops into deep secluded canyon with steep rapids formed by rock gardens. One of the first rapids is nearly a mile long with some playful surf. Watch for logs.
