| Panther Creek, Upper on the Salmon River |
This is a continuous run from top to bottom with at least 8 good rapids. The first rapid is a short III-IV rock garden that is followed by a long tight rapid. The gradient eases and then accelerates into a mellow rock garden leading into a tight class V. The run out is long and technical. The top of the portage is marked by several large boulders on the left; portage on the road. A couple of mile long rapids remain before the take-out.
