| South Fork Boise River, Canyon Run on the Boise River |
The river starts of as a mellow float through wide desert canyon. After a mile or so, cliffs close in, making hiking in or out extremely difficult. The rapids for the most part are class II-III wave trains. Both named rapids are halfway through the run. One is a long wave train and the other is a rapid called Devil's Hole. From here, it is a splashy class II-III ride to the take-out. The take-out is on the left, just up from Neal Bridge.
