Applications accepted December 1-January 31; lottery held in February. Group limit of 30, maximum trip length of 10 days. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: Follow US 93 to a wide place in the road called North Fork, 22 miles north of the town of Salmon. Turn west on USFS Road 030, the "Salmon River Road," which crosses the river twice and ends about 45 miles downstream at Corn Creek. The last 30 miles are unpaved, rocky and rough.
Take-out: Return to US 93 and drive north to Lolo, Montana. Turn west on US 12, then at Kooskia turn south on Route 13 to Grangeville. Continue south on US 95 to Riggins. At the south end of town turn east across the Little Salmon River onto USFS Road 103 which leads up to the Main Salmon; about 20 miles to Carey Creek.
