Tributary-Crooked Fork on the Lochsa River

The run begins with a number of logjams and portages. After a couple of miles the gradient picks up with several bedrock water slides as a reward. After Boulder Creek, the volume doubles, and the next two miles are the best part of the run. There are two small gorges and with several challenging drops. After this section, the river mellows to class II and III for the last five miles.
