Run Length:  18.75 miles
Streamflow Comments: 

The gates in Churchill Dam are usually open during the morning, providing a medium flow. Sometimes the gates are open longer and provide high water levels.

Season Comments:  March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October
Primary Season:  Best paddling for this section can be done during the spring, summer, and fall
Permit:  None presently required
Hazards:  Chase Rapid is a long class II rapid with fast moving water. Portage Long Lake Dam on river right, this dam can only be run at high water. Always scout this dam because it has steel spikes near the bottom.
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan,raft
Wilderness:  Yes, look for Moose on the bank and other wildlife
Camping on River:  In designated campsites. River Right of Long Lake Dam
Location:  In the Northeastern U.S. (ME), of
