Shuttle Logistics: 

To get to the take-out from Whitefish:

Head north on 93.  Turn left on Farm to Market Road.  After 2.5 miles turn right on Star Meadows Road.  Follow onto FR 513 stay on this road to the campground. 

To get to the put-in:

Head back up FR 913 to where the road tees with Star Meadows.  Take a right on Star Meadows and put in at the bridge. 

Logan Creek on the Flathead River

Right away the creek sinks into some bouldery drops.  Scout ahead of time for wood.  Things ease up a bit after a mile, but still with decent rapids.  A douple drop next to the road marks mid-run.  The rapids diminish a bit the rest of the way to the lake.
