Lost Horse Creek on the Bitterroot River

This is a great run for beginning boaters.  The first drop is Pinball, a five foot drop with a boulder below.  An eight foot double drop, Altar is next.  The run gets technical with some congestion hazards and then come some smooth granite slides.  After the slides, portage left.  Scout Slam; after Slam portage left.  Another boulder garden leads close to the gate.  Take out and head downstream to the Upper.  Scout the Upper from road; watch for wood.
