Difficulty:  Class I , Class III
Run Length:  28.6 miles
Good Level:  7000-11000 cfs
Streamflow Comments: 

Flows are dam controlled and erratic.

Middle Kootenai on the Kootenai River

Mostly a Class I float with a couple of Class III rapids. Jennings Rapid is early at Milepost 46. The China Rapids at Milepost 24 is a longer rapid. Take out or portage left at Kootenai Falls, Milepost 21.7.
