To get to the take-out from Missoula:
1. Head northwest on W Broadway St toward Ryman St
0.2 mi
2. Take the 3rd right onto Old U.S. 93 E/N Orange St
0.5 mi
3. Turn right to merge onto I-90 E toward Butte
5.0 mi
4. Take exit 109 for MT-200 E toward Bonner Great Falls
0.2 mi
5. Continue straight
0.4 mi
6. Continue straight onto MT-200 E (signs for Bonner)

7. Turn left at Kleinschmidt Flat Rd

8. Turn right at Dry Gulch Rd

Continue up the road until it crosses the river.
To get to the put-in:
Continue up the road a mile to the turn around. Hike three miles to the put-in (a half-mile past the walking bridge).

Most of the drops on this run can be scouted from the trail on the hike up except for one class V-. About a half-mile below the footbridge, scout Six Pin, a class V drop, on river right. After Six Pin there are a few more drops before the river slacks off a bit offering some play potential.
