To get to the put-in from Augusta:
1. Head southeast on Fleming St toward Main St
72 ft
2. Turn left at Main St
0.4 mi
3. Turn left at Warden Rd

To get to the take-out from Augusta:
Head north on Hwy 287 until it crosses the Sun River.

When the water is low, it is a long two-day trip. When the flows are higher, it is a wild whitewater ride that can be finished in six to eight hours. There are two diversions; one at mile 81, and one at mile 74.
