Trout Creek on the Clark Fork River

The run starts out class III before it hits a riverwide log jam.  This marks the entrance to the canyon section.  A boulder garden and some smaller slides lead into some larger slides.  A large pine leaning against the right side of the canyon signals a left scout.  A twelve footer, Poop Chute, leads into Steal Your Face, a douple drop of ten footers that make for great boofs.  A half-mile of ledges and slides bring you to Cathedral; scout/portage on the right.  A few more slides blend into the class III runout.  Watch the lower section for strainers.
