Take Out:  Dearborn State Recreation Area
Difficulty:  Class II +
Gradient:  20 ft/mi
Run Length:  19 miles
Good Level:  800-3,000 cfs
Season Comments:  May, June, July
Permit:  None presently required.
Character/Similar To:  Clear waters rush through narrow, scenic, secluded canyons as it descends to its parent stream, the Missouri River.
Hazards:  Fences, rock gardens, rapids, and shallow waters.
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan,raft
Land Ownership:  Mostly private
Wilderness:  Yes, except near the end of the run.
Location:  In the Rocky Mtn Region (MT), 50 miles North of Helena
Shuttle Logistics:  Put-in: Located at the US 287 bridge over the Dearborn, some 13 miles north of I-15 near Wolf Creek, Montana.

Take-out: Dearborn State Recreation Area is located on the right bank of the Missouri about 300 yards below the Dearborn-Missouri Confluence, reached via the Missouri River Recreation Road.
