Take Out:  John Dunn Bridge
Difficulty:  Class II , Class III
Gradient:  11 ft/mi
Run Length:  10 miles
Current Streamflow:  308 cfs @ 02/09/2012 11:15 PM - RIO GRANDE NEAR CERRO, NM, reading taken from USGS
Flow Information (phone):  BLM, 505-758-8148. Rio Grande River below Taos Junction Bridge, NM.
Good Level:  800-5,000 cfs
Season Comments:  April, May, June, July
Permit:  Self registration at the put-in.
Character/Similar To:  Intermediate run with some good Class III rapids. Often combined with the Taos Box run just downstream.
Hazards:  Remote area
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan,raft
Land Ownership:  Mixed
Wilderness:  No
Camping on River:  A few small campsites, although few boaters stop overnight on this run.
Location:  In the Canyon Country (NM), 90 miles North of Santa Fe
Shuttle Logistics: 

Put-in: Turn west off New Mexico 522 about 3 miles north of Questa onto New Mexico 378, which first runs west, then south to trailheads at various campgrounds including Little Arsenic.

Take-out: Turn west off New Mexico 522 at Arroyo Hondo and drive 3 miles to John Dunn Bridge.
