Shuttle Logistics: 

Put-in: To get to the put-in on NY 3/30, pick up NY 3/30 in Tupper Lake and head east for 4.1 miles. Look for the Raquette River Fishing Access sign on the right side of the road.

Take-out: The take-out on Tupper Lake can be found on NY 30, 0.5 miles south of the NY 30 bridge over the Raquette River.

NY 3/30 to Tupper Lake on the Raquette River

Around mile 3.5 is an area known as the Oxbow. It is a corkscrew-shaped stretch of the river that has been known to confuse boaters. Staying to the left when heading through should help paddlers avoid getting turned around here.
