This run starts in a scenic forested gorge and ends in the desert. Most of this section is class I+ but has a few fun class III/IV twisty drops. |

In the Pacific Region (OR), 112 miles (2 hours 16 minutes) East of Salem |
| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From Portland take US 26 until OR 216.Turn east onto OR 216 toward Maupin, in 3 miles look for the sign to Keeps Mill/White River. Turn left and follow the main road to the river, the last 1.5 miles of the road are very rocky and slow.
Put In: From the take out return to OR 26 and turn north. Turn north onto Oregon 35 toward Mt. Hood; in a few miles take another right onto National Forest Road 43. In a few miles this road will cross the river, put in below the bridge at Barlow Crossing. |
